- Meeting Dawn to make Mewleng and Weiyue's belated Birthday presents

We went Queensway for lunch cos I wanted to buy formal pants from the G2000 factory outlet at Anchorpoint. Queensway Katong Laksa ftw!! Then we went IMM after that for Daiso to realise that there's also a G2000 factory outlet there. Ops.

- Watched "The Call" with Woon Yang
It's a frigging good thriller I couldnt get over it the entire day! So glad we decided to watch it after researching on so many other movies! Here's the trailer of the movie, damn good damn good damn good


- International Buffet at Grand Copthorne Waterfront with GMD mates

It was a fun, fun day! Sushi making really required a lot of effort, we cooked 7 cups of rice and made super damn a lot of sushi, in the end we all got sick of them. Hahaha

- Clement's Birthday Party

Being a shy girl all night cos I didnt know any one around me. Ops. Fatty where are the pictures?

- Dinnered with family and my cousin Vivien's family cos she's flyer to study in Liverpool.

- Frigging 17 hours of JCRC Reccommendation List meeting
Damn tiring we were all quite "seh" towards the end. Not a bad experience though, something that only we know. Haha.

After 17 hours of rec meeting I only had 2 hours of sleep before heading to Seng Kang MRT for the adventure race. Lost our way to the very first station, NOT FUN. Didnt complete the race, but overall it was fun la! Hahaha. Had frigging muscle aches the day after ):

Another round of singing. K-Suite at Bugis+ is quite good, they provide student price at $10 for 3 hours, quite worth it I feel! Good ambiance too! Haha.

I'm flying to Japan tomorrow~ Finally get to meet my brother, who's been abandoning me in Singapore for the past half a year! So excited for the trip (:

So one year in uni has passed in the blink of an eye. It all happened too fast. We're gonna be welcoming the new batch of freshies and the cycle's gonna go on for another 3 years and poof, that's gonna be the end of my school life. What. The. Heck.

I'd say uni life is indeed a very different experience. Maybe it's hall life, maybe it's just my parents being less strict on me ever since I enter uni. I've gained a lot of independence and became quite a nocturnal. Life's so much more happening cos there's always hall life after the normal school life.

Taking up a leadership positions in hall as Block Manager in JCRC and a Group Leader for my hall Orientation Group (OG), I've learnt quite a lot about being a leader. It's my first time really doing work as a leader, cos I didnt have much of an opportunity to in JC as a Vice Capt. I kinda like the power that comes along with the responsibility. Haha. But on the other hand it's really been a busy year for me, having to attend every single hall event and sacrificing my Sem 1 break cos of Inter-Hall Games. And spending almost every other free day making Birthday cards for my OG mates and celebrating their Birthdays. I was supposed to learn to juggle between studies and hall, but I think I often neglected my studies for hall. I really need to be better at it.

I've made a lot of new friends, but only a few close ones. That's enough for me I though (: I've learnt that it's hard to force friendships and to force different people to come together as a bonded group. If you can clique, you clique. If you cant, there's no point trying so hard. So I'm thankful for my bunch of closer friends - my FML clique from SSM and the shitting gang from hall. They make my uni life so much more enjoyable. I hope we'd stay this way throughout, cos I really love their company (:

And yes, thanks Woonyang for being there for me especially towards the end of Sem 2. (Specially dedicate a para for you cos you're prolly the only uni friend who reads/know of the existence my blog anyway lalala) Thanks for hearing me out all the time, especially when I'm down. Thanks for keeping me company cos you know I hate being alone sometimes. Thanks for the notes you've prepared which came in soooooooo handy when I was dying rushing through my revisions. Thanks for all you've done, a lot to say I shan't list them all if not it's gonna be a composition about you and it'd be quite disgusting HAHA. But in conclusion, you're one of the best person I've met in uni, for now. Hehe. Thanks so much (:

Not forgetting my dearest roomie TanXueMiao, you're not new at all, but you've played a magnificent part in my uni life! It's been really great to have someone to talk to after every single day of school, to rant about every bit of my day with. Rooming together has definitely brought us closer, with all the HTHTs and craze and crave (for supper) and her-forever-getting-caught-shouting-at-me-and-ruining-her-quiet-girl-image muahahaha. I'm so lucky to have the sweetest human being as my roomie, always giving me encouraging post-its and welfare food. I'm often not around in room til late night cos of the tasks I'm caught up with, but it's so comforting to see someone in the room when I return, it makes hall feel so much like home :') And then one academic year has zoomed past and you're not gonna stay in hall anymore, gonna miss you so much as a roomie but we'll still be best buds for life alright! (:
