this wk was career wk. a lot of career talks. i went for film and media studies, career in tax industry and being happy with positive psychology or sth liddat.

film and media studies was fun! the speaker had brilliant eng and she's reli highhhhhhhhhhhh! lol. oh yes, she's gt very gd figure too x: her waist is very small! omg. yar i liked her talk. it's very clear, very informative. rather interested in filming and mass communication, bt it's rather hard to imagine myself being a director/producer/writing reports/taking pics for magazines and stuff.

tax industry was rather boring, i dont understand what tt person's talking bout. i thought it's sth bout accountancy so i went for it, bt thr's nth much bout it. the speaker wasnt s interesting, she gave too many examples tt i went blur. ahhhhhhhhhh. bt i still like accountancy i guess, though i dont reli know what's it abt bt i only know it's sth like counting money?! omg.

positive psychology was great! :D i learnt tt negative events are much easier to recall than positive events (really, you can try it) cos they have greater impacts. surveys showed that u need 5 positive events to balance out 1 negative event. wow! tt speaker gave us optional homework: to keep a positive journal, recording 3 positive events that happened daily and to write a gratitude letter to someone who changed ur life. cool cool. bt i havent started on them yet. lol. quite lazy x:

tdy's my first day of eng tuition. haha. my neighbour's my tuitor x: she's very experienced, have been teaching for 25yrs. however it's expensive, $250 a month, 4 lessons. omg O: hope my eng will reli improve (:
