Heya! Just back from dinner with colleagues. Our last dinner tgt, prolly. Tmr's gonna be my last day of work, and we may not even meet anymore ): Thinking back, I really did enjoy their company. Nth beats having a bunch of youngsters working tgt. It makes work so much more fun! Love them sooooo much! So gonna miss them when we go separate ways in uni.

Xinying's surprise bday party! Hoho it was great. Mingyuan planned a whole amazing race trip for her, and I was one of the lucky few to be selected for station master! Hehe. The whole race was spread across the whole of Sentosa, awww. And it ended off at Henderson Waves, getting thr almost took my life. But the scenery was definitely worth that climb (:
Lunched with Mingcong at Marche! (: Been so long since I last met up with him! Still my best sister! Hahaha. Caught Men In Black 3 aft lunch. I thought the movie was gd, just a lil confusing. Had to seek Google for explanation on the plot. Hahaha.

Went all the way to Tampines with Xuemiao to support Chantel's religion, Soka's play peace promoting play. Was actually terrorised by their warm welcomes, too friendly for me. HAHA! The play was nt bad though, quite funny at some parts (:

Helped out for Uyii flea market at Orchard Central with Weiyue. The crowd was daaaaaaaaaaamn bad, thus business was really bad. Nevertheless we did enjoy ourselves under the aircon and taking pics of and with people or things. Lol. Lunnered (Lunch+Dinner+ed) at Javier's Rotisserie & Salad Bar at Cineleisure, then caught Snow White and the Huntsman, *screams*. Honestly I felt that the movie wasnt as bad as ppl described, the plot was gd and the actor (Chris Hemsworth) was awesome!! Hahaha. K la bias intended, but even if u remove CH from the movie it should still be passable what. I dont quite understand why most ppl said tt it was bad ):
Okay and I've spent most of my past wk at work. Bored die me. Cant wait for my last day of work this coming Friday. Time to really relax myself. Went to watch Li-Ning Singapore Open ytd, I flew up to the sky, up to cloud 9!
Well I've alr made plans to attend the finals of the competition, cos I felt a need to watch some Badminton games after a good long time. Bt what I didnt expect was Boonsak to make it into the finals, let alone to win it. Not that I dont have faith in him, it's just that I was being realistic, he hasnt really been performing due to his injuries and age. To see him in the finals, and eventually winning the title after 5 long years, it really made my day. Watching how calm he was at the start of his game, then how tired he was in the midst of it, his never say die mentality, the way he dived on the court, the way he fought for every single shot, and that eventual burst of emotions and agitation towards the end of the game, when he celebrated his last few points, his victory... Oh yes, and not to forget the annoying Chinese fans sitting right behind me and my crazy outburst of "GO BOONSAK" at certain point of time durings the game and the moments when all of his fans united and coherently cheered for him. The whole game was just, intense. The fact that it may be his last year playing in the competition was quite sad, but I have to accept tt he's alr quite old as an athlete and he's suffering from a lot of injuries alr. This title must have meant a lot to him :') I'm so, so proud of my favourite Badminton star! <3

Headed to MOE early in the morning to attend an appointment briefing. Whoa it was totally not fun. Such a formal briefing! Made Lovin accompany me bt she wasnt allowed in, felt so bad bout it :/ Collected out SGCs from school. Kinda missed the place. Nostalgia. Treated her to B&Js for making her wait alone for me at Starbucks while I was at the briefing. Parted and met our respective friends aft tt.

Shall talk about my Bandung Trip about 2 wks ago with Mewleng and her relatives! It's a shopping paradise!!
Day 1: Thursday, 7 June 2012
Arrival at Bandung! Put our things down at the hotel, then had our lunch at this food stall beside our restaurant. Walked down the streets, entered this mall with atas shops like Topshop, Zara etc. Pretty much like a mall we'd see in Singapore. We initially thought that they're imitations, gt a shock when we looked at the prices. HAHA! So not everything in Bandung are cheap. In fact their US products are a little more expensive than Singapore prices. Heh. Nothing much to buy, settled down for some food (again). Caught some rest back in the hotel, the driver came in the late afternoon to drive us to some super big factory outlet selling cut labelled clothes. Woohooooo~ Dinnered in some restaurant with poor quality of service, they took yrs to serve us our food we were all famished by the time the food arrived. Boohoo. End of day 1.
Day 2: Friday, 8 June 2012
Visit to Mount Tangkuban Perahu, Bandung's most famous tourist volcano. Off to tea plantation after that, then hot springs to soak our feets while enjoying our ice cream. Lol. Lunched, then spent the rest of our day SHOPPING! Lolol. Life's good. Another day of pulling out clothes from their racks and putting them into our shopping bags (yes, their factory outlets have shopping bags for us to dump in the clothes we wanna try on!) and spending looooooong looooooooooooooooooooooooong time trying out the many many pieces of clothings! Loved it! Dinnered at the same pathetic restaurant as the first day, and tt pretty much concluded the day.
Day 3: Saturday, 9 June 2012
Clown day! Haha. All geared up to be clowns, with our newly bought rainbow pants! Heh. Headed to a strawberry farm, where we plucked our own strawberries. It was so unfair they took back my scissors when I havent plucked enough ): I couldnt understand their language at all, so the woman was like "Sudah? Sudah?" Then I was like "Huh?" Then she looked into my basket and "Sudah!" and took my scissors away, leaving me with question marks floating above my head. Lol. Ya, strawberry plucking was fun, bt couldve been more fun! :/ Bought strawberry chilli and strawberry sweets from there. The chilli was daaaaamn gd, never thought that u could actually make such chilli! For all that I rmb, we shopped for the rest of the day. Was quite sad cos we've spent too much the first 2 days, we didnt have much money left so we had to really shop wisely. Such a painful experience! Tsk. Haha. Had junk food from Carrefour for dinner. Camwhored a lot a lot before we slept, bt all the pics are with Mewleng. They're up on FB anw!

Go home day. Went to the factory outlet beside my hotel for some final shopping before heading back to the hotel for some rest and packing up. Had lunch at the food stall beside my hotel, then off to the airport! Lunched (again) at the airport. Final meal thr. Back to Singapore, met up with parents for dinner and kinda collapsed when I reached home! I LOVE BANDUNG! I love shopping (:
That pretty much concluded my Bandung trip, and for all I know I've spent almost my entire working day on this. More to come, maybe I'll continue blogging at home or at work some time soon. Hehe! Shall end this post here since I'm gonna knock off soon! Byeeeee!
