Tdy's an unlucky day. Or should I say I was lucky, you decide.

I was supposed to be super on time for sch, until I realised tt I forgot to bring my wallet when I was at the train station. Heading home to get it would guarantee me another detention to serve, so I tried my luck, I called my Yewtee friends. Hahahahaha! Qianling came to the rescue (haha), her dad drove her to the mrt station to meet me and passed me 2 $10 notes. Missed a train while waiting for her.

I ran back to the station, to the first ticket machine, it rejected both notes. I rushed to the second one, impatient for the 2 elderly couples to finish purchasing their tickets (they were seriously damn slow, no wonder thr wasnt anyone queueing up behind them), and to my dismay, both notes gt rejected again ): I missed another train. Panicked. Switched over to the third machine, asked this middle aged couple for help. Aft trying $10 after $10, I realised tt the machines do accept $10. @$#%&?!!!!!! Frustrated. Bt thankfully they had enough $2 notes and $1 coins to help me out!

Another train arrived aft I purchased my ticket, ran up the stairs (when thr was an escalator just beside it) and managed to squeeze into the train aft exclaiming "SORRY!" to the ppl ard me ._. Tskkkkkkkkkk. Luckily the Jurong East train came nt long aft my arrival at JE, met Junyean at Buona Vista, persuaded him to walk to sch with me, and if nt cos of him, I dont think I'll be able to be one of the last late comers who didnt get booked for DC, cos I had to walk faster to keep up with his pace. His legs were so longgggg. LOL.

Ya, so in conclusion, I ALMOST gt myself another DC. So tell me, was I lucky, or not? Tsk. Rushing for sch isnt fun, bt tt's my routine cos I'll only start rushing when I'm about to be late, and I always have the "Aiya I'm so early, take my time" mentality when I start getting ready early ): Arg. Lousy time management ):

On taking my laoahma-paced stroll home just nw, random thoughts crossed my mind: How much, exactly, did I once love someone? How can you measure love? Etc etc. Have been thinking quite a lot these days. No I'm nt regretting ath, I'm just wondering... Haha.

Yes, I'm feeling happy, since ytd! (:

1) Training was great ytd, very peaceful, I enjoyed it! (: It's been long since I'm happy during trainings! I managed to get the "feel" for cross net, shall practise it more next time! (:

2) Mr Tay, my Chem tutor, came up to me for a small chat after sch tdy. He asked about my Chem, hw am I coping with it and stuff, out of concern. Then when I told him I'm doing really bad at it, he offered to give me consultation, on a wkly basis. It's hard to find such a caring teacher in JC, seriously.

3) I met up with Mewleng! She accompanied me for a haircut, and we went Ajisen@Lot1 for dinner, then studied in the library til 9pm, when the library closed (: Woohoo love the feeling of meeting old friends! (L)

Got my results slip back, it wasnt as bad as my terms results, thanks to my common tests which helped pull some of my marks up, bt still, my results were bad. 2 H2 Us, 1 H1 S, 1 H1 E and 1 H2 E ._. Overall fail, have to go SSP for Chem, Econs and Maths ): Burn my early dismissals next wk, damn ): I reli wanna watch Inception, bt seems like I wont have the time to! ):

We went for some Chemistry trial tuition at Bukit Panjang. I've decided not to join, cos it was kinda boring and they dont go according to my school's progression. Haha. They're teaching chaps tt we havent learn, and they havent teach chaps tt we've learnt O: Plus, I dont wanna burn my sweet Saturdays with a tuition smacked right in the middle of my day :/ I shall rely on myself and my tutor ._. We were supposed to study at CCK library, bt unfortunately thr werent any seats ): We went BP library instead, it turned out to be worse. Then we decided to sit on the sofa to do our work, we took out our stuff, and we started chatting and chatting and chatting. Ya so we gave up our attempt to be hardworking and went snacking at KFC instead :/

Tuition wasnt fun, it was like 2hrs of mundane lecture in small tutorial room. I was dying for the tuition to end ._. Lol.

Went to Hock Lam Beef to satisfy my beef soup cravings! :D It's Xuemiao's previous workplace, the food's really gd, I swear! :D :D :D Hahahaha. She didnt wanna take pics with me, or let me take a pic of her to rmb tdy, so the only thing I could do was to take candid snaps! MUAHAHAHAHA! :D

Ya anw, I was reading Broader Perspectives during the wait in the polyclinic. The Water Issue. Came across some astonishing facts which I'd like to share.

Facts about Earth's water supply:
Water covers about two-thirds of the Earth's Surface, but that vast bounty of liquid is too salty for use. Only 2.5% of the world's water is drinkable and of that fraction, two-thirds of that is locked up in the icecaps and glaciers. Access to the remaining one-third is also limited: about 20% is located in far-flung areas and much of other 80% arrives unceremoniously via monsoons and floods at the wrong time and place. Right now, the entire human race and all other species we share the planet with have to share a dismal 0.08% of all the Earth's water.

Okay and about bottled water:
The idea of natural mineral water in a bottle that is better for our health is completely delusional.
Many bottled waters can contain up to 40% of tap water by volume, sometimes treated, sometimes not.
Lab tests of major brands have identified traces of fertiliser residue, arsenic, cleaning compounds and industrial solvents in the water.
Research shows that drinking a bottle of water has the same impact on the environment as driving a car for a kilometre.
Meeting America's demand for bottled water alone consumes enough oil to fuel a million cars for a year.
Less than 15 of the empty bottles (2-3 million tons of plastic a year) are recycled, threatening the environmental health of the earth and its inhabitants.
The other 85% is trashed, contributing to the already insurmountable mountains of garbage and litter around us, and clogging up our rivers and oceans.
Producing one litre of water will consume up to 3 times its equivalent in its manufacturing and bottling.

SIGH #1 I got back 3 papers tdy, all my H2s. Here are my grades: U, U, U. Marvellous! It's frigging depressing okay, cos I realise to get an U, u need to score below 40 marks. Ya, tt's hw bad my results were. Criteria for nt entering SSP is to pass 2H2s and 1H1. I'm qualified for SSP alr. In case u're wondering whats tt, it's some compulsory self study session aft sch, dunno hw many times a wk.

SIGH #2 I screwed up my interview. For CCA leadership post. Eww. I suck at speaking in interviews. Totally not a thing for me. Nevermind~

SIGH #3 World Cup Semis and Finals are all at 2.30AM. Sucky timing. Which means I have to slp early, wake up in the middle of the night and watch, then slp back again and wake up again at 5.45AM. Great. WC seriously can screw my body clock.

I fell in love with it when I was shopping with Weiyue during the hols, I asked her to buy it bt I thought I shouldnt buy it cos I wasnt supposed to buy anymore tops, bt... it's really damn nice lah! Kinda regretted nt buying it the other day, cos they've ran out of size S shirts ): I bought the M sized one. Thankfully it want nt very big, it was quite okay (: Hehe. Tshirt for $19.90, nt expensive right! My parents were so shocked when I told them it's price ): I thought it was normal. Tsk.
